How to keep going when you feel like quitting.

Bueno, you daring and savvy son-of-a-gun...

Let me start by saying there are heaps of times in life when you should quit...

Someone taking advantage of you repeatedly? Quit the relationship.
Some bad habit wrecking your life? Quit doing it.
Some company not following through on their promises? Not worth it. Quit.
Something stealing your soul? Hit the eject button, amigo. Fast.

But, there are times in life when you absolutely must follow through even if you feel like quitting. When you're faced with one of these situations the best thing you can do is to keep going.

Here's how:

You push through.

I know, rocket-scientist-level-life-hack here, right? Seriously. Keep going.

There's a reason you started down this path in the first place. You knew deep down in that little heart of yours there would be a price to pay. If you're honest, you chose to take on this difficult task because of what awaits you at the end of the line. And, if you stay the course and push through the payoff is going to be huge.

So keep going.

Don't quit now.

Because the system is rigged in your favor if you finish. So few people stay the course. True story. Not only will you have some special-insider-knowledge and be part of an exclusive group, but you'll also have something else no one can take away from you: grit.

And, this my friend is priceless.

Armed with your new found resilience, your life will quietly take on an unstoppable quality. And, the next time you come face-to-face with a task that is kicking the ever-living-crap out of you, you'll take a moment and think twice about the last time you didn't quit. Then you'll keep going. And, the time after that. And, the time after that.

This is what separates great people from the rest of the herd.

It's not talent.

What I'm talking about today is character. And, you, my friend, are a finisher. You simply need to wake up to the fact of how great and strong and resilient you really are.

So start. Fail some more. Get back up. And, keep going.

What lies ahead is worth it.

Here's to finishing what you started...
