24 things Steverino learned too late in life...

Hello again my talented and wise friend...

I received another interesting question via the interwebs:

"What did you learn too late in life?"

So I crafted this little answer via a short list...

I’m not sure if I learned these things too late in life, but I wish I would have learned them earlier (I don’t believe it’s ever too late)…

  1. To be comfortable spending time alone…
  2. To buy the more expensive bottle of wine (you do get what you pay for)…
  3. To travel (geographically and metaphysically)…
  4. To hold my beliefs with an open hand…
  5. To ask for help…
  6. To be selfish…
  7. To be more selfless…
  8. To take better care of my teeth…
  9. To hug more people…
  10. To listen to my enemies…
  11. To listen to my critics…
  12. To listen to my gut…
  13. To embrace a posture of learning every day…
  14. To write a book (I’m on #6)…
  15. To read more books…
  16. To take more mental health days…
  17. To celebrate my friends…
  18. To forgive my family…
  19. To forgive myself…
  20. To laugh at myself more (I’m too serious at times)…
  21. To go against the herd for the sheer pleasure of it…
  22. To embrace saltwater (the ocean, sweat & my own tears)…
  23. To journal (every day)…
  24. And, about a thousand other things…

Here’s to never thinking it’s too late to start...

Steve Knox
