Why Steverino repeated Spanish class...

Buenos dias mi amigo...

Obviously, I don't need to let you know why I repeated Spanish class.

No, it wasn't because I'm a slow learner...

Surprisingly languages come easy to ole Steverino...

It was because of a pretty gurl.

Yep.

True story...

I had a crush on a girl a grade behind me and found out that I could repeat Espanol Uno and sit next to her. My plan worked too. We ended up 'going out' for like 3 months. I helped her study. And, she thought I was a freaking genius for knowing a bit of Spanish (btw, my name in class was Esteban Peligroso)...

Why am I taking you on a stroll down memory lane?

Because we all make bad decisions that hold us back for no real good reason at all. I see it all the time...

Brilliant employees who take the easier route simply to stay connected with people who are one-step behind...

Intelligent leaders who don't challenge their bosses, because it means saying hasta luego to their BFF and upsetting the status quo...

And, entire companies who fall in love with their own way of doing things and never try to innovate because things have always been done a certain way...

Well, you get my point...

So, the next time you want to press REPEAT ask yourself:

"Is this going to get me closer to my future goal or make me a better human being?"

If the answer is NO, you may want to follow your head instead of your heart.

Just saying...

Here's to making better decisions...
