Steverino's advice on making really really big decisions...

G'day you unbelievably kind soul you...

My phone rings at least twice a week with the same question:

"Steverino, how do I know if this (opportunity, person, relationship, offer) is right for me?"

The desperate and confused soul on the other end of the line is wanting me to make the decision for them. And, to that, I say, "No way Jose'."

I do however offer them some brilliant guidance in the form of 5 simple questions which I'd like to share with you now...

Question #1: Do you have the knowledge, skills, and experience to pull this off?

Question #2: Does your family support it?

Question #3: Can you afford it (physically, financially, emotionally)?

Question #4: Are you likely to quit?

Question #5: Is this a part of your calling?

If you answer YES to less than 4 of the above questions, chances are you should say NO to that opportunity, person, relationship or offer.

True story.

Three YESSES and you're compromised...

Two YESSES and you're in for a world of hurt...

One YES and I'm sorry amigo, but you're just plain stupid for going through with it.

So, I don't know what type of decision you're wrestling with...

But, if it's an Andre the Giant kind of decision, then I suggest you use these 5 questions to navigate your future.

This piece of advice is on the house...

My gift to you. Don't ever tell me I didn't help you in some beautifully-brilliant way.

Here's to making better decisions...
