Why Steverino swims upstream...

Sasa you freaking creative genius...

Having the chutzpah to stand by yourself and chart your own course is probably one of the hardest decisions you'll make on this rotating ball of dirt we call home...

Here are a few compelling reasons why you may want to follow a different path (like the one I've chosen) in swimming upstream:

  1. You're stubborn as hell like me and love the challenge/calling of being original...
  2. You believe life's too short to play small...
  3. You'd be selling out on your true self by following the herd...
  4. You learn a lot way out on the edge...
  5. There's less traffic and noise...
  6. You get to find out what you're really made of...
  7. You find out who your real friends are and how to avoid the fairweather hangers-on...
  8. You get to be alone with your thoughts...
  9. People have to make an extra effort to connect with you...
  10. You're more likely to stand out...
  11. There's less competition for sheer fear of striking out in a new direction...
  12. Ultimately, you're conscious of the overarching narrative of your life...

Don't get me wrong...

There are times I play "the game"...

You may even find me in a suit outside of a wedding or a funeral.

If any of the above list rings true for you, I recommend putting pen to paper and exploring why.

I promise you you'll get insight into how you can personally get your mojo back.

Here's to being honest...to being you...

Steve Knox
